Holy Ground, July 13, 2014
Dear Friends,
It is so good to be home. Thank you for the warm return welcome on Sunday. It was a bittersweet day for all of us as we bid “bon voyage” to Rev. Eileen and Jim as they embark on their new adventure. I believe they felt our love and gratitude very deeply.This Sunday, we will be blessed by the music of Inspiration. I have chosen the lesson title, “Holy Ground,” inspired by one of their music selections. I want to talk to you about that ground of Spirit that moves with us, that is always beneath our feet even when we feel that ground is shifting. I want to talk to you about our spiritual home, and what it means to me, and try to get a deeper sense of what it means to you. Mary’s and my recent travels have given us a fresh perspective on the uniqueness and power of what we are privileged to a part of here. It will be an honor to be with you.
