Dear Friends:

The well-known 20th Century, Norwegian adventurer, Thor Heyerdahl, who crossed the Pacific in 1947 in his little raft, the Kon Tiki, wrote, in reference to that amazing feat: “I had learned for myself that there is an invisible world of caring all around and inside us – different from our world, unimaginable by us, but as close as a cry from the heart.” This Sunday, my lesson title is “Who’s Got Your Back?” I was inspired by a similar title in “The Holy Encounter” newsletter published by Miracle Distribution Center. Of course, It is God who always has our back, but how do we learn to trust that truth more fully and consistently. In our modern times, that trust seems more needed than ever for many of us.To believe in this way helps us every single day – sometimes in subtle ways, and often in more profound terms. Please join us, beloved friend.

In Peace and Joy,

Rev. Steve
