“Twelve Chocolate Moments: A Meditative Journey Through the 12 Powers” The YOU will be in the Foyer after the 9:25 and 11:25 Services on Sunday to distribute chocolates to everyone who ordered them. There are extra boxes of chocolate available for people to purchase who didn’t order in advance. A box of chocolates costs $30, tax included. If you ordered chocolates and won’t be here Sunday, contact Linda Hancock in the Youth Education Office to make arrangements to pick up at another time. Valentine’s Parents Night Out: Parents, beat the crowd and celebrate Valentine’s Day a day early! Enjoy dinner out with your sweetie while your children are entertained by our childcare staff at the Church. Then come back and enjoy the Coffee House Concert in Friendship Hall, or whatever makes your heart sing! We’ll provide a pizza dinner for the kids, some Valentine’s crafts, stories and games, and a cartoon with a love theme. Cost is $20 per child for infants through age 10 years. Register here.

Real-Time Parenting Meet-up: The topic focus for the first two weeks of February is “Peace and Understanding, Part II.” Join Language of Listening and Love & Logic facilitators and other parents during the first two Sundays of every month for a solution-oriented discussion about the challenges and successes you are having with your children! Love offering. Complimentary childcare is available in Room 135.

Elementary Angels: Our elementary Sunday School classes are looking for angels (teacher’s assistants) for both Services. Openings include an angel twice a month in the 9:25 first & second grade classroom or an angel twice a month in the 11:25 third-fifth grade class. If you are interested in filling one of these openings, please talk to Linda Hancock in the Youth Education Office, Room 140.
Taco Sunday: Next Sunday, February 15 is Taco Sunday! The YOU will be selling an assortment of breakfast tacos after the 9:25 and 11:25 Services. All tacos are $3 each including gluten free varieties.

Soup & Sufi Save the Date: After taking a year off, we are bringing back the popular YOU event, Soup & Sufi, on Sunday, March 1st! The YOU will serve a hearty lunch of various soups, Caesar salad and dessert in Friendship Hall, followed by Sufi dancing in the Foyer. For now, mark your calendars. More details coming soon.
