IYOU Conference: Several of our Youth of Unity teen Officers will leave Sunday morning to head to Unity of Dallas where they will attend church before heading off to Unity Village for the International YOU Conference this week. Our teens will return to the Church on Saturday evening, after a powerful week of being in spiritual communion with other teen leaders from around the nation. Our South African friends from Riversonderend will join them. The congregation will have an opportunity to learn how our teens grew spiritually when they share their spiritual insights with us on YOU Sunday, July 19. We are so grateful for all the love and support from our UCOH family!

Minnie Rally: Minnie Rally registration has begun!!! This annual rally sponsored by our YOU for Uniteens and YOUers from sister Unity Churches in Central Texas—will be held Sunday August 9 to Tuesday August 11 at Slumber Falls Camp in New Braunfels. Early registration continues through Sunday July 12. All forms are available in the Youth Education office.

Real-Time Parenting Meet-up: The topic focus for the first two weeks of July is “Finding Strength.” Join Language of Listening and Love & Logic facilitators and other parents during the first two Sundays of every month for a solution-oriented discussion about the challenges and successes you are having with your children! Love offering. Complimentary childcare is available in Room 135.

YOU Sunday: Mark your calendars for Sunday July 19, which is YOU Sunday, when our teens deliver both Services in the Sanctuary, including the prayers, meditation and the message. The theme of the Services will be based upon the regional rally they just attended, “Summer Legacy”. Be prepared to be blessed beyond measure for a fresh and insightful perspective on spirituality! We will also honor all our teachers and angels on this Sunday.

Reception for Teachers and Angels: Every year on YOU Sunday we take time to honor all our teachers and angels for the time and energy they’ve invested throughout the year to build up our children spiritually. Parents and guardians are invited to bring finger foods to share during the reception, such as cookies, muffins, fruit and veggies. Please bring all items to the kitchen for our hospitality team to present in Friendship Hall.

Summer Angels & Parent Partners: The Youth & Family Ministry is looking for volunteers to help out during the summer months while some of our regular volunteers are gone on vacation. There are openings for angels (teachers’ helpers) during both services. Pick the age group that brings you the greatest joy and join us! Please talk to Linda Hancock in the Youth Education Office, Room 140.
