Love ATX, an Austin-based organization, is sponsoring the first Solstice, subtitled “Soul-Fuel Gathering.” The public event was created to allow local leaders, artists and activists to meet and share meaningful conversations of social change, personal growth, spiritual development, and environmental responsibility.

Reverend Kristen Grandon, co-minister at Unity Church of the Hills, was invited to give a talk at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22nd. Her topic will be “Whom Do You Listen To?” Members of the UCOH family are encouraged to attend this and other great talks during the gathering.

Solstice is scheduled for December 21st and 22nd at the historic Springdale Station, 979 Springdale Road in East Austin. The event will have live performers, a community collaborative art canvas, sculpture installations and a slate of featured organizations.
