UNITY CHURCH OF THE HILLS ANNOUNCES NEW CO-MINISTERS

Unity Church of the Hills (UCOH), a New Thought spiritual community in Northwest Austin, has named Reverends Brian and Kristen Grandon as its new Co-Ministers.

Board President, Vicky Gale, made the announcement on Sunday, April 23, 2017 following a nationwide search. Vicky said “We are so blessed and honored to announce the Grandons as our new ministers. They bring depth, inspiration and compassion with their positive teaching and leadership.  We look forward to this exciting new chapter for UCOH!”

The Grandons will begin their ministry on Tuesday, July 18, with their first Sunday message on July 23 at 9:25 & 11:25 a.m. They were introduced to the congregation back in March (https://vimeo.com/208316103) as part of the interview process and there was an instant connection.

The feeling was mutual. As Rev. Kristen said, “We immediately felt embraced and accepted by the community. We left infused with love and eager to join this dynamic spiritual community.”

The church’s former minister and his wife, Rev. Steve & Mary Bolen, announced plans to retire back in September 2016 after getting the nudge from Spirit that it was time. Rev. Steve and Mary were in ministry for over 30 years, their last ten at UCOH. On his final Sunday, June 25, the Board of Trustees bestowed to Rev. Bolen the lifetime title of Minister Emeritus.

Speaking about the Grandons to the congregation of UCOH, Rev. Steve said, “These two amazing, beautiful beings are fully capable of leading and loving this Spiritual Community as it continues to grow and thrive.” He went on to say, “Above everything else, this community is a community of love. My request of you is to lavish your love upon these two beautiful individuals.”
