Summer Legacy is the Youth of Unity’s Regional Rally for the South Central Region. It is being held June 12-16 at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Our teens and Sponsors left early Wednesday morning and will return on Sunday evening, all fired up from a wonderful weekend of being immersed in spirituality with their fellow teens from other parts of the region. We will get to hear more about their experiences during Y.O.U. Sunday in July. We are profoundly grateful for all of the support from the congregation that enables our teens to participate in these life changing events!

Parent Orientation for Grades K-2nd and 3rd-5th Spirit Camps
Parents, if you have questions about this year’s Spirit Camp before you register your child, you’re invited to attend a parent orientation session. This will give you the opportunity to meet the facilitators and get your questions answered. You will be able to view the curricula and experience activities similar to the activities your children/youth will experience during this summer’s fun and transformative camp.
The general goals for the parent orientation include to help parents:
- gain an overview of the program and its underlying values.
- identify a broad definition of human sexuality.
- identify ways in which parents can support their young people’s participation in the program.
- receive support in their role as the primary sexuality educators of their children.
Sunday, June 23 at 1:00-2:30p.m. in Room 201

Feminine Hygiene Drive
One of our teens, Jessica Morehead, has been inspired to make a difference in the lives of homeless female teens by launching a feminine hygiene drive at our Church and at her school. Bring your feminine hygiene products to the designated plastic tubs in the Foyer.
