Licensed Practitioners

What is a Practitioner Session?

An Agape Licensed Spiritual Practitioner (ALSP) session, commonly known as a Practitioner session, is similar to other types of professional counseling and coaching, except that as ALSPs, we apply prayer and spiritual principle to our work. We start with the idea that the client is already whole, and our work is to assist them in revealing that perfection.

Each spiritual counseling session begins with prayer and an intention, and ends with a six-step affirmative prayer, which is a scientific form of healing. In this field of prayer, the Practitioner assists the client in realizing the Spiritual Truth about their life, thus releasing false beliefs and limitations. A session may include life visioning or a period of meditation. The Practitioner may ask the client questions to help them uncover their inner truth and discover the Divine Pattern that is at work in their life. The session is not about giving advice about life situations, but rather about Spiritual Truth and the freedom that comes from realization when false ideas and beliefs are transmuted. Clients experience more clarity, vitality, ease, joy, fulfillment and peace.

A Practitioner session typically lasts about an hour. Practitioners maintain a strict ethical code of confidentiality with clients. What is shared is never discussed with anyone (except where legally required by law to report certain events).

Practitioner sessions are offered at UCOH on a love offering basis.
