The team has been diligently working to complete the next phase in the process of the search for a Senior Minister.
The first phase involved creating a job posting for the UWM website and an information packet to be provided to all applicants interested in the position.
I am happy to report that our team worked collaboratively with the staff and the board to complete this packet. Once the packet was completed and reviewed by Rev. Cynthia and the board, it was submitted to UWM. UWM will then post the position, and field the qualified applicants to our search team.
Phase two of the process will begin when we receive applications from UWM. The search team will then review applications, interview candidates, conduct calls to candidate references, and watch and evaluate recordings of messages delivered by the candidates in the past. My team and I are committed to this community and this process; I will communicate as often as possible with as much information as possible. Please hold this process, our team, the staff, and the board in prayer.
