On November 27, 2018, Unity Church of the Hills takes part in a national day of generosity: #GivingTuesday. It’s a day when family, friends, and co-workers join together to give back to their community. #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Your donations help us to continue to provide transformational programs and facilitate the spiritual growth of thousands of individuals such as yourself. Together, we can shine our light boldly as a community and continue to create a warm, accepting, and loving environment where spiritual seekers safely experience change and transformation. The first $2,500 given on November 27th will be generously matched.
What is #GivingTuesday?
The #GivingTuesday movement started in 2012 on social media and has evolved into a nationally recognized day—always the Tuesday after Thanksgiving—to support charitable organizations and celebrate the value of giving and philanthropy in a season of gratitude. In 2017 more than $300 million in 42 countries was raised on #GivingTuesday. The average gift size was $120.
