Dear Spiritual Friends,
We are delighted to have you as a friend in Unity Church of the Hills, and as such, we want to provide you updates on our current financial status.
Some 35 or so of our spiritual family attended our Financial Update meeting right after Sunday service, August 11. If you missed it, the slides on what we discussed are available here. You’ll find a lot of details that outline our financial health in the slides. We know that more important than the numbers you see, is the truth that our spiritual health marks our prosperity. We experienced this in the deep sense of ownership and connection in the meeting as we explored our current finances and shared our dedication to our spiritual home.
We know there are those who were unable to attend the meeting, and we are grateful for your participation in the past, present, and future, in whatever form it takes.
Your participation helps us successfully carry on with the operations of UCOH. Whether it’s from near or far, your support allows us to maintain the property, pay staff, conduct classes, provide space for other community groups such as the Boy Scouts, special New Thought events, rehearsal space for our community’s theatres, and more. We love serving them! Most of all, though, your prayerful support helps us grow our Christ consciousness and transform lives.
The attached slides will show you that we have successfully kept costs as lean as possible, but we still have substantial operating expenses as we enter the final quarter of 2024. We’re inviting you to help us meet these demands so UCOH can reach greater heights and function at its best.
We’ve moved through a terrain of intentional healing over the past year, and we are coming together with renewed appreciation for each other and the future of UCOH. We’ve begun our search for a new minister, and we invite your prayers toward this endeavor. Your sharing your financial abundance, joining one of our volunteer teams, popping in on Sunday or watching online, or simply offering us prayers, elevates the Christ consciousness in our community. We cannot do this without you, and we are grateful.
