The I Ching is a 3,000 year old book of Asian wisdom and is considered one of the 100 most influential books ever written. For Christians, the I Ching is a tool for discerning God’s will. This workshop is one of the first to present the I Ching from a modern Christian perspective.
The Workshop will be led by Roger Sessions, founder of The Christian I Ching Society and author of The Christian I Ching. He is a Benedictine Oblate, a Spiritual Director, an expert in the I Ching, and a pioneer in exploring the synergies between the I Ching and Christian spirituality.
Sessions said, “Participants in this workshop will learn how to offer concerns to the divine presence, receive answers in the form of the 64 I Ching archetypes, and interpret these ancient archetypes in ways that will open up new possibilities for embracing life.”
Reverend Steve Bolen, Senior Minister, said, “This workshop is part of our ongoing community outreach. We are especially excited about this because it bridges the best of Asian and Western spirituality and furthers our mission of learning from all Wisdom paths.”
