The announcement of a mutual separation agreement by Rev. Sheree Taylor-Jones and the UCOH Board effective January 6, 2023, is meaningful and sorrowful.
In yesterday’s lesson, Keep Hope Alive!, Rev. Sheree gracefully encouraged us to “Be aware. There’s no one to blame.” She was spot on when she pointed out that each and all of us must be responsible “to give each other the grace of hope” so we can keep the spirit of hope alive in our hearts.
Laura McIntyre, a Trustee on the Board, acknowledged for all of us that Rev. Sheree has been for us “a bold, bright light who has called us to be God in skin.” Rev. Sheree, we will miss you. We hold your strength and courage as positive reminders as we move forward through the coming transition.
UCOH Community, we count on you. We encourage you to reach out to us with your thoughts, feelings, desires and suggestions that enable all of us to build together the Spiritual Home we want Unity Church of the Hills to be. We prompt you to engage, participate, and volunteer in all the activities that feed your soul.
