Y.O.U. Summer Legacy
Our Youth of Unity are gone this weekend to Summer Legacy, the annual South Central Regional Rally which is being held at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Our teens will return to the Church Sunday evening, after being spiritually transformed by their experiences at the event. They will have formed deep, long-lasting relationships with other teens from Unity Churches throughout the region. The congregation will have an opportunity to learn how our teens grew spiritually when they share their spiritual insights with us on Y.O.U. Sunday in July. We are so grateful for all the love and support from our UCOH family!
Wednesday-Sunday, June 21-25, Tahlequah, Oklahoma
In observance of Independence Day, the Youth & Family Ministry will hold a “Freedom Celebration” on Sunday July 2 in lieu of our usual Spirit Sharing Sunday on July 30. The Austin Fire Department will be here with a fire truck and will be talking with us about fire safety. Our Youth Education program will hold a fire drill that morning with coaching from the firefighters. Afterwards, we will play water relay games in the Pavilion! For ages five and up. The Nursery, Toddler Room and Pre-K will be open for childcare that morning.

Room 138 is now an office space for three of our staff members. The First & Second Grade class has permanently relocated to Room 139, which is located directly across from the Youth Education Office. We love our new classroom space!

Summer Volunteers/Parent Partners
During the summer months several of our teachers and angels go on vacation and Parent Partners help fill the gaps while they are gone. Parents, if you can volunteer as a helper in your children’s Sunday School rooms, please talk to Linda Hancock in Room 140.
