In January we will launch a new curriculum based on Star Wars called “May the Force Be With You” for the 3rd-5th Grade class and the Uniteens.  We will
continue with Wonderful World for the Pre-K/K class,  and Volume two of Children on the Quest for the First & Second Grade Class.

Youth Education News

Y.O.U. Mid-Year Rally:  The Mid-Year Rally for the Youth of Unity South-Central Region will be held at Glen Lake Camp in Glen Rose, Texas the weekend of January 15-17.  Early registration for this Rally is now open and will continue until December 21.  Late registration to attend the Rally is $175 per person. Details are at unitysouthcentral.org or talk to Martin Dowman, Y.O.U. Sponsor.

Late registration deadline is December 28.

Childcare for Burning Bowl Service:  Childcare will be provided for the New Year’s Eve Burning Bowl Service at 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Please reserve childcare in advance  to ensure that we have enough childcare staff available.  You can register online at our website or email childcare@unityhills.org.

Loaner Costumes:  If you borrowed a costume for the Christmas Eve Service, please kindly launder and return it to the Youth education Office by Sunday, January 3, 2015.

Youth & Family Volunteers:  Thank you to everyone who responded to the call for Youth Education volunteers!  We have filled almost all openings.  We are still looking for angels to help out in the nursery and the 9:25 Pre-K/Kindergarten class.  Please talk to Linda Hancock in Room 140 to pick up a volunteer application.
