“The truth is that you can have everything you want in this life. You can be free from the grips of poverty, and instead live a life of joy and faith and prosperity. You can live according to your divine purpose, in line with God’s plan, with everything you could possibly want or need at your fingertips…”
–Excerpted from The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity by Edwene Gaines

6. Attend one of the Spiritual Education (SEE) classes during first six months of attending UCOH.

Whether you want to renew your passion for spirituality, discover new ideas that will change your life, explore practical approaches for everyday living, or develop your biblical knowledge, we have a class for you. SEE courses provide practical metaphysical teachings you can use every day to enrich your life. Check the bulletin and website for upcoming SEE classes.

If after attending a few classes, you feel this is truly the path for you, The Spiritual Development Program offers students looking for a more structured course of study an opportunity to expand and deepen their spiritual awareness through prayer, self-discovery and metaphysical studies. There are a total of 25 classes in this program which present an overview of critical ideas and resources while refining the skills you need for lifelong spiritual growth. Completion of the Spiritual Development Program is required for entry into the Leadership Development Program and the Licensed Unity Teacher Program.

8. Recommended Practices:

Join a Spirit Group – Join a Spirit Group in your neighborhood.  Connect with people in your area and deepen your spiritual understanding with like-minded friends.

Prayer partner(s) – This can be done by identifying one person and calling each other weekly or meeting on a regular basis to keep prayed up. This can also be accomplished as you participate in a Mastermind group in the church. There are very often established groups who want to add a person, or you can start your own new group.

Meditation – If you choose to, you can take a class to get ideas for additional practices or you can attend the mid-week Wednesday meditation service or the 8:00am Sunday Service, It is a great idea is to set aside time daily for your own meditation practice.

Self-care – It is vital to nurture your Spirit by taking care of your body, soul, and mind. Whatever it is that you do, it must be on your calendar just like your other activities so it doesn’t get lost with your long to-do lists.
