Al-Anon

Tuesdays, 7:30 PM
Thursdays, 7:30 PM
Saturdays, 9:00 AM

A 12-step support fellowship for relatives and friends of alcoholics. Al-Anon offers understanding help; support to families and friends of problem drinkers. Our program is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and is based upon the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Service.

Many who come to Al-Anon are in despair, feeling hopeless, unable to believe that things can ever change. We want our lives to be different, but nothing we have done has brought about change. We all come to Al-Anon because we want and need help.

In Al-Anon, members share their own experience, strength, and hope with each other. You will meet others who share your feelings and frustrations, if not your exact situation. We come together to learn a better way of life, to find happiness whether the alcoholic is still drinking or not.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Saturdays, 9:00

Unity Church of the Hills hosts an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting every Saturday. This is a separate meeting from our weekly Al-Anon meetings. Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

Marijuana Anonymous

Fridays,  6:30pm to 7:30pm

A Marijuana Anonymous group will begin meeting at the Church on Friday evenings at 6:30 p.m., beginning July 6th. Marijuana Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share our experience, strength, and hope with each other that we may solve our common problem and help others to recover from marijuana addiction. Our primary purpose is to stay free of marijuana and to help the marijuana addict who still suffers achieve the same freedom. We can do this by practicing our suggested twelve steps of recovery and by being guided as a group by our twelve traditions. Open discussion meeting–all are welcome!
