The Red Bench

The Red Bench: Interfaith Conversations that Matter

The Red Bench is a program of Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT).

We are very excited to host The Red Bench event with iACT volunteers on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Unity Church of the Hills.

The Red Bench is an on-going dialogue program designed to address the most pressing needs of our time: improving interfaith understanding and civil discourse in our society.

The topic we will be discussing is: Courage

Please RSVP so we have an accurate headcount.

Tuesday, May 30 – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – UCOH Pavilion (weather permitting)

Volunteer Opportunities:

This is our first opportunity to host a Red Bench and we are very excited. Let’s show our Interfaith friends and neighbors some true UCOH Hospitality!

There are a number of opportunities for you to support the Red Bench event on May 30 with your time and talent. We are looking for Greeters, a Hospitality Set Up crew, Clean Up crew, and individuals to help prepare a vegetarian meal for about 100. All volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in the dialogue as well (please RSVP above if you intend to do so.)

If you are able to volunteer, please complete the form below. If you have attended a previous Red Bench and would like to serve as a table host, please contact Tammy Lorraine.
